Our Dairy Herd consists of many different dairy breeds of cattle. As you look out into our pastures you will see many Holsteins but will also see Brown Swiss, Jerseys, Milking Shorthorns and Ayrshires. They all produce white milk. In order for our cows to produce milk they must first be bred and produce an offspring. Once they calf out they can begin to be milked on our daily schedule. Our dairy cows are milked twice a day, early in the morning and then again in the evening. The milk from our cows goes into our milk tank and is then picked up by a milk truck. The milk truck then transports the milk to Agri-Mark.
